Lana at Pet Airways Baltimore-Washington

What do you do? I'm the Lounge Manager at Baltimore-Washington.

What’s the best part of your job? Helping people get their furry children home safely.

Tell us about your pets. My cats are: Rosencrantz, a grey and white 5-year-old female; her littermate Guildentstern, a 5-year-old tuxedo male; and Frieda, a grey, long-haired 4-year-old female.

What are your pets' favorite things to do? Guil likes to give people kisses on the chin, Rose likes playing with milk carton rings, and Frieda plays fetch.

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend with your pet? Napping with all three cats piled around me.

Favorite place to vacation with your pet? Austin, TX!

If you could go anywhere in the world with your pet, where would it be? They are strictly indoor cats, so anywhere that provides a sunny window is fine by them. I would like some place along the Tuscan countryside--maybe on a vineyard.

What are your must-pack pet essentials for a day trip or weekend away? Guil's woobie (one of my knit scarves).

If your pet was a movie star, who would they be and why? Guil is very meticulous about his appearance but not very bright. My theory is he'd be the hair stylist to the stars or Keanu Reeves, but wouldn't say "dude" as often. Frieda would be Isabella Rosselini because you can't hate her for being beautiful or maybe Susan Lucci--petite and feisty. Rose would have to be someone reclusive, moody, and a bit on the heavy side. Does that make her Roseanne Arnold? Hmm.

What’s your top pet travel tip? Stay relaxed. If you are comfortable, your furry babies will find it easier to relax, too.
